‘Barstool Sailor’ adds to songbook with new album

ISLAMORADA — “I start the day a ‘Sunshine Billionaire’ and go to bed a Barstool Sailor,” says Micah Gardner, the original Barstool Sailor.
At 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, his band, Micah and the Barstool Sailors, takes the stage at The Gypsy Cafe and Brewhouse for a live session for a new album.
“We’ll do a live recording of a new batch of songs that document my relationship with music, joined with my buddies Cliff Stutts and Richard Faulk,” Gardner said. “Between the three of us, it will be a fun show.”
